Housing and Community Services, Inc. (HCS), a nonprofit community based housing organization with corporate headquarters in San Antonio, has received a gift of $1,500 from the Coastal Bend Foundation, Corpus Christi, Texas to support the purchase of additional computers for the newly renovated learning center at Lantana Square Apartments, 5802 Academy Drive, Corpus, Christi 78407. The property is one of the 36 multifamily affordable housing properties owned and/or operated by HCS primarily in the south Texas region, with eight communities located in the Coastal Bend area.

Executive Director, Gilbert Piette, stated, “HCS extends its greatest appreciation to the Coastal Bend Foundation for this generous contribution. This will provide a good deal of support on behalf of our mission to enable individuals and families to achieve economic and social stability through diverse services as well as quality affordable housing.
